Here at RUUM American Kids Wear it’s all about creating easy, quality and fashion forward children’s clothing. Our back to school line blends the three with trendy pieces that mix comfort and durability. Pants are obviously a staple of your boy’s back to school wardrobe, but that doesn’t mean they need to be boring. Click on the images to see more styles in our boy’s clothing line.
So, it’s time to start thinking about outfits for the new school year. This year’s kids fall fashion lines leaves heaps of different styles to choose from. There’s the basics; jeans, tees, prints, lights knits. Then for the more adventurous, there’s frills, ponchos, floral, sparkles, faux fur, leather and moto jackets to name just a few! There really is something fun for everyone in this season’s children’s fashion.
For school you’ll need to stock up on lots of comfortable, durable pieces. For bottoms, jeans, and skirts are a must, or a dress over comfortable leggings. For tops, plaid or denim shirts or a print tee. The girls’ clothing fun continues with the numerous options for a second layer. You’ll need an array of cardigans as the weather cools down and denim jackets are a great practical top layer for fall. There’s also some fun leather jackets, light kit ponchos and cardigans to keep you warm on cooler days.

Aside from long days on the beach, and hanging out with friends dressed in our favorite line of children’s clothing, one of our favorite ways to spend the long, lazy days of summer vacation is with a good book and a ice-cold drink (or tub of ice-cream?).The lazy, sun kissed and beach-filled days of summer are soon coming to a close. Here is a list of some great books we recommend for some last minute summer reading, after all now’s the time to take advantage of your free time, before you get super busy in the new school year.
- The Adventures of Arnie the Doughnut: Bowling Alley Bandit (by Laurie Keller)
- Battle Bunny (by Jon Scieszka and Mac Barnett)
- Big Nate: In a Class by Himself (by Lincoln Peirce)
- The Birchbark House (by Louise Erdrich)
- Clementine (by Sara Pennypacker)
- Bluffton: My Summers with Buster (by Matt Phelan)
- The Day-Glo Brothers (by Chris Barton)
- Doll Bones (by Holly Black)
